Hey Lovely Peoples, Would be the Sennheiser CX-400 BT still worth your hard earned money in 2021 as Affordable, authentic wireless earbuds How do they stack up to the rivalry.

Overall, build quality and layout items are fairly pleasing here despite their otherwise no frills matte black vinyl end.
In terms of overall build quality and design, things are pretty pleasing here despite their otherwise no frills matte black plastic finish though they do come in white as well. The case is most definitely pocket friendly though
at the same time, not the most compact option you’ll find at this price, and while the case is also incredibly light
Concerning pure build quality, there is not a great deal to distinguish it from choices ranging anywhere from $50 to $100 here; nevertheless,
Build quality does improve as we proceed into the buds that are incredibly similar in build quality and design to their high-end cousins.
The Sennheiser momentum two. The sole difference here is They have a somewhat more squared off form that, for some reason, I like aesthetically even though the buds not being fully flush with your ears. It is my personal preference. Your preference may vary.
But I’m becoming a little retro sense if I look at those buds with their glistening touch sensors and monochrome layout that, for me, sets them aside from a number of the questionable designs
Build quality is pretty typical on the case, but the buds managed to equivalent many high-end alternatives.
When it comes to comfort and fit, the cx-400 are amazingly secure, considering they do not have any wingtips, and they do protrude from your ears a sensible amount.
But that slightly bulkier frame does also go in their favor as it means they make more contacts with your ears and generally are more well supported.
So for medium to mild workouts, they have been perfect thus far, yet because of this more oversized size design, they do apply a fair quantity of pressure around your earbuds
meaning that you can indeed feel their existence greater than other more compact buds, and ear fatigue can set in after about an hour to an hour and a half.
Sennheiser CX 400 BT : Features
They have an IPX4 sweatproof score, and I enjoy their understated design that feels meaningful and glossy, not only a dull compromise.
The Sennheiser cx-400 to set themselves apart from the contest for starters, we have got Bluetooth 5.1 here along with the Apt-X codec that’s excellent news for android consumers
audiovisual latency here’s adjacent to none around Netflix and YouTube as naturally they typically compensate for this delay.
Anyway, but smartphone gaming does still have a noticeable sound delay. Unfortunately, there’s no multi-point pairing here which, to be fair, I would expect to see at this price point.
However, at that price point, I would like to see wireless charging as well.
Sennheiser CX 400 BT : Controls
you can fully customize the touch controls yes including volume controls, and you’ve got access to custom equalizer settings; however, do bear in mind that these are single band equalizer settings, not a full parametric equalizer
So I was not able to control the sound signature to the scope that I could have enjoyed
Sound
The Sennheiser cx400 provides a robust overall performance via a pleasingly natural sound profile. low bass is a small underemphasized
Meaning you won’t get that deep low end rumble though mid bass still provides enough punch to liven up the heartbeat of most popular music genres convincingly
the mids here are where they truly shine, offering clear vocals with considerable detail, though on tracks with heavier bass, they can begin to get a little bit overshadowed by punchy kick drums treble here.
I should say the treble entire is pleasingly present from the combination soundstage this is excellent considering the cost.
rock music with lots of mids can see vocals and lead instruments overlap a little during more built up choruses
Bass heads will definitely want to look elsewhere but if you’re looking for a neutral sound profile then these are definitely a reliable option of course you can always use the custom eq settings to manipulate the sound signature to your liking.
Mic Quality
When it comes to mic quality,
they came out with reasonably bad mic quality recently. They had a firmware upgrade since then, and I’m trusting that things have improved.
But we will examine the Sennheiser momentum two next for comparison functions.
However, despite lacking clarity, my voice was audible during the recording, which is the most crucial factor here.
It’s by no means the best but fairly reasonable and realistic for the price point, still offering enough clarity to get the job done.
Sennheiser CX 400 BT : Battery
When it comes to battery life, you are considering 7 hours with the earbuds and 20 hours with the case.
there’s no doubt you’ll be able to find much better battery life in funding buds from people who have much more compact cases
I just managed to get six hours playback at one charge in my actual world testing, so these characters do fall short here as they did with all the Sennheiser momentum also.
You can easily find better battery life at this cost with much more compact cases.
Conclusion
the pros are a rich natural sounding sound signature access to sennheiser’s smart control app and an excellent secure fit
The cons are the lack of a few features i would expect to see at this price lower than average battery life and they don’t overly excel in any one particular area
Though they also don’t fail in any one particular area either
but despite those cons, I personally enjoyed my time with these buds they were compact enough
That I didn’t have to think twice about putting them in my pocket before I left the house they’re one of the few true wireless earbuds that I actually think look pretty good when they’re in and the sound signature was a nice break from all the mountain of bass boosted buds out there
